Every number in this book came from a document we opened and read. That is not a guarantee that all of them are right. A bulletin can be revised the week after we read it, a state can adopt a new code edition on a date nobody announced, and we can make a mistake.

North Dakota · code edition on the exam
The Board adopted the 2026 NEC® on July 1, 2026 and announced that the exams would move to the 2026 edition “early this fall”. The book and its North Dakota practice tests are written on that basis. If the Board's exam page shows a different edition on the day you test, the update will be posted here.
How to report something
Write to contact@ashcroftpress.com and tell us the page number and the sentence or table cell you are looking at, what you believe is correct, and where you saw it. A link or a document name is ideal. “My instructor said” is still worth sending: we will go and check.
You will get a reply. If you are right, the correction goes on this page with the date, and into the next printing.
